A Night of Cock & Bull # 11

28 Apr 2011

Song, Spoken Word, Stand- Up, Sketch and Improv monthly night curated by Flying Fish. Last Thursdays at Jamboree, Cable St Studios, E1W 3HB

Doors 7:45pm/ Show Begins 8:30pm

£5 advanced tickets,  £7 On the door

This is an evening of no holds barred, spontaneous absurdity where performers can test the waters and let go of any formula or rules. A multi- arts platform for artists to try out new material and break the barriers of traditional Comedy and Spoken Word shows.

Held at the exquisite, intimate setting of Jamboree at Cable St Studios and the urban East End- a night of Cock and Bull, “the only reason to come to Limehouse” every last Thursday of the month.

compere: Sam Quinn

our favourite 'freewheeling mind that's utterly without boundary', Phil Kay; the queen of character comedy and a Funny Women 2010 finalist, Gemma Whelan; the best comedy girlband around, The Balconettes (think '1.5 x Flight of the Conchords but female'); Flying Fish with more surreal storytelling and mind bending down the rabbit- hole (still only for the first 10 tickets); some thoughtfully twisted filth and depravity from Linus Lee, winner of King Gong at the London Comedy Store in April 2010, a semi-finalist in the 2010 So You Think You’re Funny and Laughing Horse New Act of the Year competitions; David Mulholland of the Soho Comedy Club and Armando Seijo in the Live Art corner. In a word: SUPREME
